On Tuesday 21st June, the team from Cycling Without Age Stockton on Tees attended the Trefoil Guild meeting at The Institute, Grays Road, Grangefield to talk to the group about the work of Hand In Hand Activities CIC.
Alison was invited to speak to the Trefoil Guild about the range of community projects offered by Hand In Hand Activities CIC and felt that this was a fantastic opportunity to introduce more people to Trixie Trishaw and the Cycling Without Age project. The session started with a short and concise presentation about the many varied community projects and answering any questions from the group.
After the talk, all of the attendees were invited to experience a trishaw ride around the Grangefield estate with Robert in the pilot seat. Not everyone opted to take a ride but those who did said that they had really enjoyed the experience, even if it was a quick spin around an urban area!
We had a lovely afternoon with the group and would like to extend our thanks for the generous donation that was made to the project. We hope we can return in the future so that more group members can enjoy a ride on Trixie.
