On Wednesday 22nd June, Robert and Trixie made their way to The Institute in Grangefield to meet with Tom and Tracey and take them for a daddy-daughter trishaw ride around Ropner Park.

Tom has been part of the Musical Memories Singing Circle for quite some time and his daughter, Tracey and her husband Mark were coming up to spend some quality time together. It seemed only fitting to support them in making memories together during their short stay in the area.

Robert and Caroline met Tom, Tracey and Mark outside of The Institute and, after brief introductions they were supported to safely board Trixie Trishaw before heading off on their Ropner Park tour.

The route to the park went along Grays Road, left on to Grangefield Road, right onto Oxbridge Lane then left along Osbourne Road which takes you into Ropner Park.

During their lap around Ropner Park they were spotted (and greeted) by our friend Sonia who runs Move It Or Lose It exercise classes locally and kindly captured some video footage of the ride.

After the lap of the park, Trixie and friends made their way back to Grays Road to take part in Musical Memories Singing Circle.

It was wonderful seeing the smiling faces returning to Grays Road at the end of the ride and both Tom and Tracey were given Polaroid photographs on Trixie so they have a picture to aid reminiscence and conversation with others.
