On Monday 10th October, Alison and Trixie went along to Billingham Environmental Link Programme’s Mens Group at Low Grange Community Centre in Billingham.

When I arrived, she was quickly introduced to Jude, who is BELPs Community and Engagement Manager, and Joe who is a member of the Mens Group. Through very active communication, we soon learned they had so much in common – camping, driving and motorbikes for a start!

After a good chat and a cup of tea, I took Trixie out of the van, realised I’d forgotten the battery, and met Jude and Joe outside the community centre ready to take them for a ride. Thankfully, Low Grange Avenue is fairly flat so pedalling even with two passengers wasn’t too challenging. The challenge came when I was asked questions. I need to work on my unassisted pedalling and talking technique!

While out, Jude noticed that not only was it a fun and engaging to ride on the trishaw but also recognised that those who we passed or passed us by we pointing, waving and smiling. Proof that Trixie Trishaw not only provides the wind in your hair but also puts smiles on peoples faces!

Huge thanks to Jude and Joe for taking the time to chat with me and coming for a quick spin with Trixie Trishaw. The team look forward to seeing you again soon.
