On Tuesday 6th December, the Cycling Without Age Stockton on Tees Team attending two Young At Heart ULO CIC Dementia Activity Groups and Care Partner Support Groups with a very special guest, offering a trishaw ride with Santa Claus and small Christmas gift to all who attended.

The day starting at St Aidan’s Church Hall, Billingham, where Trixie and Santa greeting the Billingham Activity Group and Care Partner Peer Support Group members. Santa Claus took the time to chat with the group members before some of the group took it in turns to go for a trishaw ride with Santa around John Whitehead Park. At the end of the session, Santa handed out Christmas gifts to everyone.

On Tuesday afternoon, Trixie and Santa Claus attended the Thornaby Activity Group and Care Parter Peer Support Group at the LiveWell Dementia Hub. The session was fairly quiet so after enjoying a refreshing hot drink, Santa and Trixie took attendees for a quick ride around the local area, which just happened to coincide with schools finishing for the day. When we returned, Santa again gave out Christmas gifts to attendees and the staff at the LiveWell Hub.

Thank you to Young At Heart ULO CIC for inviting us along to share the festive cheer with the group members. We had a wonderful time and hope to catch up with everyone in the Spring-time.
