On Wednesday 2nd November, Caroline from Team CWAStockton attended the Coop Cheque Presentation event help at the store in Ingleby Barwick’s The Rings. Representatives from Young At Heart ULO and Little Sprouts were also there to celebrate the donations collected by Coop Members over the previous year of being chosen as a Coop Local Cause.
The cheque presentation event is a great opportunity to find out more about other local causes and meet other community-minded people who do great work, often for little recompense.
At the event, it was announced that our supporters had raised £1,644.14 over a twelve month period while shopping in Coop stores using their members cards.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Carol, the Coop Members Pioneer who supported our work through our duration as a Coop Cause. We would also like to thank the stores across Thornaby and Ingleby Barwick who were supporting our work throughout the year. Lastly, thank you to the Coop social media managers who did a great job interacting with our social media campaigns and increasing our social media presence.
